My wife and I were very impressed with the service we received from Universal Flooring. From start to finish, they were fantastic. Danny worked closely with us, guiding us in selecting the perfect products to achieve our desired results. He assessed our home and offered valuable professional advice on how to best accomplish our goals. As a carpenter with over 20 years in the construction industry, I typically handle most home projects myself. I am often skeptical about hiring others, as I rarely find the quality meets my expectations. Our 1949 home, built on a concrete slab, has settled considerably over the years, but this did not deter Danny. He explained their process and assured us of a great outcome. I was admittedly skeptical but decided to give them a chance, and I am so glad I did. One of Danny’s crew members arrived on the first day with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving the best possible result. This involved a significant amount of floor preparation. By the third day, the prepared slab looked so good that I joked it was ready for a sealer (it really was). The prep was truly remarkable and likely looked better than it did when originally cast the concrete in 1949. On the fourth and final day, they installed our Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. This type of flooring requires a perfectly flat surface, unlike wood or engineered floors, which offer some flexibility. I cannot express enough how impressed and pleased we are with the results. I highly recommend Universal Flooring to anyone seeking a company that listens, provides excellent guidance throughout the process, and delivers quality preparations and finishes that I expect will last for many years.
